Dr Mothepane Sebeela Tshabalala

Founder & Research Director

Dr Mothepane Sebeela Tshabalala is the Founder and Research Director of Nazui Institute. Her work focuses on the responsible adoption, governance and implementation of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies within organisations.

She holds a PhD in IT Management from the University of Johannesburg. Her doctoral research investigated the effective implementation and management of projects integrating Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.

Her experience spans technology-enabled transformation, IT project management, applied organisational research, business development, AI-assisted solution development and tertiary education. Through Nazui Institute, she leads research, advisory and innovation initiatives that help organisations move from emerging-technology interest to responsible, practical and sustainable implementation.
