Evidence-informed direction for responsible technology adoption.

Nazui Institute helps organisations translate emerging-technology evidence, opportunities and risks into practical strategy, governance, transformation and implementation priorities.

Our advisory work connects organisational context with research, responsible technology principles and implementation realities so that decision-makers can move from interest or experimentation towards deliberate and sustainable adoption.

Each engagement is shaped around the organisation’s own question — a decision, an opportunity, a concern or an implementation challenge — and is scoped to its context and mandate.

Research establishes what is happening, why it matters and what needs to be understood. Advisory helps an organisation determine what the evidence means for its context and what it should do next.

Six areas of advisory support

Each engagement is scoped to the organisation’s context, question and mandate — drawing on the Institute’s research agenda and responsible-technology principles.

  1. AI & Emerging-Technology Strategy

    Helping organisations clarify why, where and how artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies should be considered in relation to organisational priorities, value, risk and responsible use.

  2. Organisational Readiness & Adoption

    Examining the leadership, governance, data, process, technology, workforce and change conditions that influence whether adoption can succeed.

  3. Responsible AI Governance

    Supporting the development of appropriate governance principles, accountability arrangements, decision rights, policies, controls and oversight for responsible AI use.

  4. Digital Transformation & Operating Models

    Helping organisations understand how emerging technologies may affect processes, services, decision-making, roles, capabilities and operating models.

  5. Implementation & Project Advisory

    Supporting organisations to convert strategic priorities into practical implementation approaches, sequencing, governance, delivery structures, risk considerations and measures of progress.

  6. Capability & Change Enablement

    Helping organisations identify and develop the knowledge, behaviours and organisational capabilities required for responsible and sustainable technology adoption.

Decisions organisations are trying to make

Research investigates what is happening. Advisory helps organisations decide how to respond. Advisory conversations often begin from decisions such as:

  1. How should we govern generative AI use across the organisation?
  2. Where should we begin our AI adoption journey?
  3. What capabilities need to be developed before wider AI deployment?
  4. Which governance controls are proportionate to our AI risks?
  5. How should we translate research findings into an implementation roadmap?
  6. How should responsibilities for AI oversight be allocated?

Where the evidence for a decision is not yet available, the first step may be an applied research engagement — advisory and research remain distinct, and an engagement may involve either, or both in sequence.

What an advisory engagement may produce

The scope and outputs of each engagement depend on the organisational question, context, evidence available and agreed mandate. Depending on the need, an engagement may produce:

  • an organisational context and readiness assessment;
  • an AI or emerging-technology strategic direction;
  • prioritised opportunities and use cases;
  • governance principles and accountability recommendations;
  • a transformation or implementation roadmap;
  • implementation priorities and decision gates;
  • risk, capability and change considerations;
  • recommendations for further research, piloting or solution development.

How Nazui works

Engagements are adapted to the organisation and assignment, but may follow the following evidence-to-action sequence.

  1. Understand the organisational question

    Clarify the decision, opportunity, concern or implementation challenge requiring attention.

  2. Examine context and evidence

    Review relevant organisational information, research, stakeholder perspectives and technology considerations.

  3. Define the response

    Develop proportionate strategic, governance, transformation or implementation recommendations.

  4. Support practical action

    Where agreed, assist the organisation to prioritise, sequence, govern or enable the response.

  5. Learn and refine

    Review emerging evidence, implementation experience and changing organisational needs.

This is an advisory-engagement approach, not a guaranteed universal methodology.

Clear professional boundaries

Advisory is most useful when its scope and limits are explicit. The following boundaries apply to every engagement:

  • Advisory recommendations are based on the agreed scope and available evidence.
  • Nazui does not provide legal opinions or regulatory certification.
  • Governance advisory does not replace an organisation’s legal, compliance, risk, audit or executive accountability.
  • Technology decisions remain the responsibility of the client organisation.
  • Specialist technical, legal or sector expertise may be required depending on the engagement.

Move from emerging-technology interest to informed action.

Discuss the organisational question, opportunity or implementation challenge you are working through.
